Try-it Class Information
Description
​
Artistic (Synchronized) Swimming is a fantastic sport that combines swimming, artistry and athleticism. It is perfect for anyone who likes dancing and/or swimming. Come see what the sport is about by attending our try-it class. During the class, participants will learn the basics of artistic swimming including: layouts, somersaults, treading water, oysters, and various propulsion methods. Swimmers will then learn and work on a short routine (series of movements performed to music). All participants will receive a free noseclip at the start of the class. What to bring: Swimsuit, Towel, Goggles (optional), swim cap (optional).

Swimmers interested in trying Artistic (Synchronized) Swimming can come to any of the following practices:​​

Sunday, June 7th from 2:15 - 3pm

Friday, June 12th from 5 - 5:45pm

Note: Participants must be water safe and comfortable in deep water (5 - 9ft). The first fifteen minutes of the class will be on land.
