Try-it Class Information

Description
​

Artistic (Synchronized) Swimming is a fantastic sport that combines swimming, artistry and athleticism. It is perfect for anyone who likes dancing and/or swimming. Come see what the sport is about by attending our try-it class. During the class, participants will learn the basics of artistic swimming including: layouts, somersaults, treading water, oysters, and various propulsion methods. Swimmers will then learn and work on a short routine (series of movements performed to music). All participants will receive a free noseclip at the start of the class. What to bring: Swimsuit, Towel, Goggles (optional), swim cap (optional).

Try-It Class Session

Swimmers interested in trying Artistic (Synchronized) Swimming can come to any of the following practices:​​

  • Sunday, Sept 7, from 1:30 - 3:00pm​

  • Thursday, Sept 11, from 6:00 - 7:30pm

  • Sunday, Sept 14, from 1:30 - 3:00pm

  • Thursday, Sept 18, from 6:00 - 7:30pm

  • Thursday, Sept 25, from 6:00 - 7:30pm

  • Sunday, Sept 28, from 1:30 - 3pm

Note: Participants must be water safe and comfortable in deep water (5 - 9ft). The first half-hour of the class will be on land.
